'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Villa Represented In England U21's

Craig Gardner has told the official site he is looking forward to playing for England U21's tonight in the Uefa Championship qualifier against the Republic of Ireland.

The Villa midfielder said: 'I love playing for my country - it's a real honour to be selected. We're doing well in the qualifiers and a victory tonight would really help our chances of making it to the Euro play-offs. We are so close to clinching a play-off place after winning five and drawing one of our last six games. The key to international recognition though is performing for Villa when I play. That's my goal.'

Villa striker Luke Moore is also in the squad.

villabikes29
Yes and he plays well at rb he gets forward and attacks but is still able to get back. The key is having the right person in front of him I think.
daveldvilla
He played well by all accounts, as did O'Halloran!!!

Oh and Milner (god we shud sign him)

well done to Craig
ozanne park rangers
Gardner played the 90 minutes and looked accomplished at right-back. Moore stayed ont he bench. O'Halloran did impress me at left-back for the Irish.
Tierney
Always good when a Villa player scores! Even if it is an own goal! :)

Our friend ozanne park rangers hasn't a clue who Craig Gardner is, absolutely no idea. Glad O'Halloran impressed (Tierney's comments), cause he sure as hell has never impressed me. Pity Luke didn't get on, but by all accounts CG was one of our shining lights last night.
