48% Say Villa Can Still Make Europe

48% Say Villa Can Still Make Europe

Vital Villa asked in our last poll:

Due to the lack of transfers, have we missed our opportunity?

48% are confident we've not blown it and can still make the top 5-6 and qualify for the Uefa Cup.

27% voted 'Plain and simple, I'm gutted and frustrated'

15% said we would finish just outside of Europe at best with a further 4% saying MON has gambled and I think we'll pay for it.

Others:

Totally happy, where is the problem? (3%)
No, we can make the top four (2%)
Yes, top ten at best (1%)

We also asked, in a poll suggested by theno5shirt:

Should Villa run onto the pitch to the traditional 'Theme From An Unmade Silent Movie'?

Seems the opinion isn't that strong for it as 48% voted, 'Don't know, I can't remember it.'

Other votes went to:

Yes, it is part of our proud history (28%)
Who cares? (15%)
No, it was rubbish (5%)
I'd prefer something else (4%)

Our latest poll asks for your predictions v Fulham and will be followed after the game by the man of the match vote.

We sold 4, loaned in 2. Your window was brilliant in comparison.

I first read that headline as "48 Says Villa Can Still Make Europe" Now I know it's not always easy to predict our controversial friend's opinions, sometimes positive, others not but I was a bit taken aback by this, he's not usually that optimistic :OP

villavillavilla Moyes has already said he won't appear for the first team till next season. He is an academy signing (the board gives moyes x amount for players, and the academy y amount to bring in players too) we tried to ship out on loan in the window again, but nobody would take him. Gardner was brought for cover for yobo while he is at ACN, but he is injured for 2 weeks, so what really was the point?

Still good results plus I notice the scorer of Derby's goal is called Villa it gets better and better. Hope we can win tomorrow 44 points and just behind Everton on goal difference would be nice.
