Message From The Holte

The Holte.

We would like to clarify and apologise for any confusion that we may have caused regarding the Holte pub opening hours.

The Holte is exclusively accessible on a matchday to invited season ticket holders, who will be selected on a random basis each fixture for the remainder of this season and we will be looking at alternative ways during the closed season of how to operate this going forward.

On week days currently due to very slow trading the Holte pub’s opening hours will be:

Monday -Wednesday 11am- 6pm
Thursday - Saturday 11am – 11pm
Sunday – 11am - 6pm

These hours will continue during the winter months, any changes will be communicated via the official website www.avfc.co.uk

However keep posted for up and coming events such as reserve games, youth matches, away screenings, the breakfast buffet, and quiz nights which will also be detailed on the website and different opening hours may occur.

Food will be served at the pub during the following times:

Traditional all-you-can-eat lunchtime buffet served Mon-Fri 12pm-3pm.

Classic Sunday lunch served 12pm - 4pm

The Holte also has rooms available for private hire for more details please call 0800 612 0960.

If you have any comments about the Holte please email theholte@avfc.co.uk

We look forward to welcoming you to the Holte.

Good article, I'm pleased its put in an appearance. Opening times etc needed clarifying, there is a lot of confusion amongst supporters. It certainly deserves our support, and hopefully this information will be shared to all Villans, many who seem to have little idea as to when/if they can attend.

Sad Villa fans don't use this venue more generally. It's a bit crap it isn't open match days for all, but you get the feeling the appearance of the place would go down rapidly if that happened. Have had many a meeting with friends, family and business associates in the place and think as a Villa fan it is great to see the old place restored to what it should be rather than a neglected hole left by Mr Ellis.

Sorry to be the voice of doom when I went there the food was dreadful, I did fill out one of the comment forms but for what it worth I should have chucked it directly into the bin my-self.

HAHA at Skeggy, cheeky fecker. It's a shame they have had to cut the opening hours due to lack of demand though, I highly urge everyone to take a trip there, its a lovely place.

Its obviously never going to be a big money earner, but that of course was never the intention. Sad to read Cols comments, but sadly his experience was similar to a couple of close friends of mine, who were in there at lunchtime a couple of weeks or so back. So Cols concerns are not to be ignored.
