USA Keeper Not Coming To Villa

USA Keeper Not Coming To Villa

American goalkeeper Brad Guzan won't be joining Villa after his work permit application was turned down by the home office.

Brad Guzan had apparently been waiting to take a medical at Bodymoor Heath after Villa lined up a £2million deal.

He has been turned down as he only has 5 USA caps.

Seems a bit harsh?

silly rule i think, he's comin over going to pay taxes, not exactly going to be sponging is he? He's only going to contribute, They stop people who actually work for a living and then let people in who go on benefits? political discussion, but this country is stoopid the way it runs itself sometimes.

I agree Kris, he won't be exactly sending his child benefit back to his relatives in Eastern Europe

I am sure there is an appeal process that can be followed, just depends on how much he is wanted/required

Strange one this. It was surely obvious to the club from minute one, that this guy simply did not fit the criteria of a suitable applicant for a work permit? Maybe we haven't heard the last of it, with an appeal presumably to follow.
