British Rail To Go Claret & Blue!

Villa have agreed to paint Witton and Aston train stations claret and blue next month.

The official site has a mock up of how it will look: Click Here

Lee Preece said: 'This is the first in a long line of measures aimed at improving transport around Villa Park. Both stations are integral when it comes to getting to and from the stadium, whether it be on a matchday or during the week. We felt it would good to see them decorated - and how better than in club colours.'

No doubt the bitter scum from small heath will come vandelize

They will as I'm sure some of our lot would do if it was the other way round. Still, its good to see the train people are looking to get a little bit of class on their side.
PTP
Nice one, I work for the railway so it's good to see us doing this.

Oh, and it's Network Rail, not British Rail Mr Fear!

Now get enough trains to the stations on match day... come on you know it makes sense.

About time. That bridge at Witton has looked very tired for a very long time.

I'm old holte end star, I'll stick with British Rail, not much British left these days! lol
The Fear
What a superb idea. Another positive to increase the feel good factor.

Got to agree with leelindsay though. How long before the low-lifes who follow that lot across the way make their make on the buildings?
