Wayne Routledge In?

Wayne Routledge In?

Routledge in?

We are today been linked with the wonder that is........ wait for it Wayne Routledge.

And infact the mirror goes one step further by suggesting that we have signed the Spudz flop!

The Mirror says Villa last night tied up a deal for Spurs outcast Routledge. The ex-England Under-21 midfielder has made just two appearances for Spurs this season and will become Villa's first signing of the window.

I really hope it isn't true! He is not the type of player we should be looking at signing. I would honestly prefer us to sign no one than us to sign him! He has only played for spudz 3 times!!!!!!

Altough he has been attracting interest from one of the richest clubs in the world, the mighty QPR. Oh dear oh dear! please don't let there be and truth in this.

Think we need a right winger, he was touted as a top player at one point and linked with England, think an injury put him back. Who knows these days?!?!

I hope this aint true but I predicted this I said before the window opened to my mate that he will be the kind of "quality" we`ll get. I actually mentioned his name. I also said we`d end up with titus bramble. If that one became reality I would definitely worry!

Milner or Bentley please! Living in fantasy land as neither are for sale (particularly to us). More sensible suggestions would be welcomed. Chimbonda is also being touted as a cert.

Its Harewood all over again. We should loan in some foreign players rather than sign mediocre clubbers

My initial reaction was...urgghh, but I work with loads of Spurs fans who say that he is quality and that they'd be gutted if he left, which surprised me. Apparently he was always really good for england under 21s...

He is cheap, the fans are worried we sign no-one else (bit like the "DJ twins transfer window of disappointment"), I can understand this. But MON has eluded that no premiership teams will now sell thier players (apart from us it seems!), as staying there is all that matters.
