'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No To Blues, and No To Bolton

Bolton Wanderers are the latest club to be told where to go after reports circulated that Gary Megson tabled an offer of £4 million for centre back Gary Cahill.

If rumours are to be believed, the offer was much earlier in the week and may well have been around the time that Birmingham had their offer rejected aswell.

Bolton have money to burn following the Anelka sale but either O'Neill really doesn't want to let the player go or he's holding out for a higher price.

It's believed that O'Neill wants in the region of £5 million, so it will be interesting to see if any side comes in at that and tests his resolve.

Don't sell him. Full stop.

Sell him - if he thinks he "deserves" first team football - then let him go play first team in a crap team

If the decision has indeed been made to offload him at the right price, and that would certainly appear to be the case, then I'm certainly pleased to see that we're not giving the lad away at a bargain price, something that has very much been one of our major failings in recent seasons. I'd personally like to see him stay, but can certainly understand his desire to be playing regular first team football.

Don't sell him.We need 4 centre halves.Olly will go and if Laursen get's injured we will only have Knight...Yes the lad wants to play, so send him out on loan until the end of the season and look at the situation then.Considering we paid 10million for Curtis and 4million for Knight. I would say more like 6million in todays market...UTV

Gary is heading for the top in my opinion, he's a quality defender. Moving to St Andrews though would be a mistake on his part. Bolton I think would be the better option for him.
