Majority Say Laursen To Deputise

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by villavillavilla:

Who should deputise as captain when Gareth Barry isn't available?

The majority, with 72% said Martin Laursen as he is 'inspirational'.

Next up was West Ham's former skipper Nigel Hokey-Cokey.

That left:

Olof Mellberg - former captain (8%)
Stiliyan Petrov - was Celtic captain under MON (2%)
Curtis Davies - WBA's former captain (1%)
Gabby Agbonlahor - local lad and all (1%)
Other (0%)

Our latest poll asks for your predictions for Villa's visit to Anfield. Win, lose or draw...?

I just saw hokey cokey on mtv cribs, he can never be captain, what a tit, I asked my bro if I can get my money back on for the ticket for the blackburn game (only a tenner ;-), I really dont fancy lining the pockets of someone who hangs about with his boys and plays playstation all day. My rant over, but not just hokey cokey but the rest of over paid footballers, over inflated wages wasted on someone who lets be honest can kick it better than someone else... im still ranting...i'll shut up

After Laursen signed the new deal there is only one candidate. Nige is too much of a moaner to be a captain. The job that MON has given him as a Makalele role is perfect. If only he would do this and keep his mouth shut and stop appearing on TV then would be much happier. Still squirming with embarressment after that Soljaboy dancing business.

If Mellberg doesnt sign an extension he shouldnt really be captaining the side. I would have Barry (c) and Laursen (vc). 3rd choice probably NRC or even Bouma perhaps!!! He has a mouth on him at times!!!
