One In And One Out Of Villa?

According to reports tonight Leicester are set to sign Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne on loan early next week.

The 20-year-old midfielder has had his move delayed due to a slight injury picked up in training.

Foxes boss Ian Holloway said:

'I thought he was going to be here this week to train with us but unfortunately he had a slight dead leg. He was supposed to be here now and I thought that was done but it should be either Monday or Tuesday of next week. At this precise moment I don't think we will do anything with him before the weekend.'

Meanwhile another report suggests Valencia are willing to listen to bids for Portuguese full back Miguel with both Aston Villa and Chelsea said to be interested. Apparently they were set to keep him but now want to off-load him following an incident in a night club last week.

I had an incident in a nightclub once. I put my drink down, the next minute it was gone.

Hair raising. Yes, I really have walked on the wild side of life.

Take fingerprints! Arrest every one with fingers!
The Usual Suspect
I was in that same nightclub! I seem to remember McGrath and Merse were there too that night. Anyone know more about this Miguel? That is, more than his nocturnal misdemeanours?
VillaYamYam
Miguel caught my eye in the world cup I thought he was outstanding,he was up and down the touch line constantly and was quick,Id be amazed if we got him.

In these present times of DNA no one needs to loose a drink.

Yes bazzah, have amended the article after seeing the Sky report.
The Fear
Osbourne is better off spending the rest of the season out on loan, playing regularly at The Championship level, rather than playing limited reserve team football. No doubt he'll find working under Ian Holloway quite an experience too. Good luck to him.

For the younger fringe players moving out, albeit only temporarily, I hope plans are afoot to bring in new faces also. Wonder if the likes of Marlon Harewood will be allowed out on loan? Would imagine he might be in demand.
glensider
6 loan requests turned down for Harewood according to The Sun. Everyone wants a piece of Marlon apparently...!!!
Adam Deuce
Marlon may well play a big part in Villas European future, I think he has a mate who is a travel agent.
