Who Will Villa Buy Poll Results

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by Villa96

Who is the most likely Villa transfer?

Looks like the opinions are very mixed. 7% said we'd get no one, which isn't that unrealistic I guess as the Jan transfer window is notoriously difficult to predict with most teams unwilling to release their best players.

30% said we'd get another option to the ones Villa96 put, that left Jermain Defoe with 13% as the favourite potential target.

The rest:

Giles Barnes (12%)
Kyle Lafferty (10%)
Peter Crouch (7%)
John Arne Riise (7%)
Jose Bosingwa (4%)
Eidur Gudjohnson (4%)
Wes Brown (3%)
Steve Sidwell (1%)
Maurice Edu (1%)
Nicolae Dica (1%)
Wayne Hennessey (0%)

Our latest poll asks for your predictions v Man Utd.

Its incredibly hard to say with martin oneil who were going to buy, he gives nothing away and gives us the usual quotes every time so really all we can do is specualate and hope he comes up with the goods.

I sincerly hope he learned that waiting till the end of the window and bringing in whats left is not the way fwd, having said that he seems to be doing well on this system. I honestly think he had Riise lined up till Liverpool pulled the plug.

I cant see any big name type signings, along the lines of last January's excitement. Rather a couple or so of younger squad players, faces more for the future rather than for immediate inclusion in the starting line-up.

maybe just a right back to cover melberg, also 1 other fringe player to cover one of the other positions hope i,m wrong though unless he signs carson full time but i dont think so,reckon he will wait untill end of next season.

I would give my little pinky to see James Milner move to B6 on a permanent deal. He's just what we need wide right.
