'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Celebrity Villa Fans

Tom Hanks was on breakfast tv yesterday being interviewed about his latest film and again mentioned Aston Villa.

He did admit that he didn't follow football but loved the name of our team!

Got me thinking about the list we did ages ago about our celebrity fans as below. Anyone got any additions to this or is it fairly comprehensive?!

Chris Marshall - My Family (the tall one), BT ads, and various other programmes recently.
Just to clarify about Lee Child - he is an author of books in the Pulp Fiction genre specifically know for his series of Jack Reacher books. However Pulp Fiction the film and then the subsequent book were written by the director Quentin Tarantino.
I thought David Cameron (Conservative Party Leader) was also a Villain
Also - Floella Benjamin 80's TV Presenter
Jim Hacker, Prime Minister of the TV and Radio Series; Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister. David Moran, ex-Crossroads actor (he used to stand by me on the Holte)
I'm sure Tony Blair is a Villa fan....
Who was on the list anyway, so I'll shut up!!!
Sheriff Kimbo
I believe Pauline McLynn, who played Mrs Doyle in Father Ted, is also one.
Sheriff Kimbo
lol Sheriff. Not sure how your one post ended up above the other though!!!!!!!!!!!
The Fear
Tony Blair was supposedly a Newcastle fan
Justin Rose - Golfer. Confirmed Villa fan.
You forgot about the one of the current government MPs cannot remember her name....
Chris Storr . plays trumpet in Jools Holland Band
The police were moaning about having to bring in extra police to keep an eye on her...imigration or defence or something! Her name totally escapes me, dont really take an interest in the Labour government TBH.
Randy Lerner (American Billionaire)
Isn't Prince Harry a villa fan? Or is the other one, William? I don't know - Charles' son, not Hewitt's, you know the older of the two princes. I'm sure he outed himself as a villan.
The Usual Suspect
The Labour politician you are thinking of is Jacqui Smith. Also if you are referring to Jonny Gould the C5 Baseball presenter he is a Chelski fan. And Tony Blair is a Newcastle fan.
Surely you have to mention Colin Abrahall, lead singer of legendary Brum punk rockers GBH.
I did the catwalk on Soccer AM in My 82 European Cup winning shirt?! That must count for something?! JF - Please add me too the list- especially after I slapped Chantelle Houghton on the Ass on live Tele!
John Fear and Naz for their roles in hosting Villa Fans Combined. The only official pressure group seeking to remove Doug Ellis from the helm.... look at the club now! 7th place, Totems, jazzy lights, bottle bars, a new board, money to spend, a new training ground!!! There help was long forgotten by many but not few! I will remember your efforts JF/Naz.
Kevin Costner was there a couple of years ago! Probably to see us lose to Arsenal or United though! I don't remember the game (gladly!)
We're all celebreties. Well put it this way, if not celebreties we are most certainly true fans. At least we turn up week in/week out, 99.9% of that lot dont know what the inside of Villa Park looks like. Let them stick to what they do, and we'll stick to what we're good at. Namely supporting AVFC.
Luciano Pavarotti once said Aston villa was a beautiful name might have been like a tom hank's kinda fan, do agree with Glen though.
chris the villan
Can't see many of those taking their seats in the Holte end today! In fact i doubt they would attend if it was free and in an executive box. Surely a Fan is someone who pays his money and goes to games? Or at least will be glued to the tv tonight to see the game ? Not someone who likes the name Aston Villa!
I like the name Aston villa
chris the villan
Nigel Kennedy - aaaahhhh!
Thanks Lee, nice sentiments but just checked the list of double z celebs and our names were sadly missing! ;-)))
