Martin O'Neill told the official site after the 4-4 thriller against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge he thought we'd done enough to win the game.
'We did enough there to win three games. It was an extraordinary effort from the team. We came out and dominated from the very start - at a place where Chelsea haven't lost for quite some time.'
Adding, 'It was just a brilliant, brilliant effort. They've come from behind with just ten men. Some people will point out Chelsea had nine men, but we had ten for most of the second-half. This was not just about the spirit, which was phenomenal, but in terms of ability. We've come here and given a really good account of ourselves. It says a lot that I'm actually disappointed with a draw. I really felt we deserved three points.'
He also says the away fans were once again fantastic.
Meanwhile Chelsea have released a statement on their official site saying they will appeal the Ashley Cole red card on the grounds of 'wrongful dismissal'. How can it be wrongful to send off Cashley Hole?!?!
Ricardo Carvalho has also released a statement saying on Chelsea's official site: 'It was never my intention to hurt Gabriel Agbonlahor with the tackle. I was going for the ball and I don't want people to think that I tried to hurt another player. I didn't see him after the game to apologise but I asked for a message to be passed on to him.'
Hmmm, not the most interesting of statements, in fact a bit of an anti climax, but hey ho!
I'll update later with reaction from Chelsea boss Avram Grant. Either that or I'll go and have a beer and totally forget. Quite exciting the amount of options I have in life.

Avram Grant obviously saw a different game to the Villa manager an fans as he said they dominated and have dropped points.
"For the supporters it's an exciting game, for us, we dropped two points. We dominated the game, controlled the game."
Adding "We conceded a goal from a free kick, but then we made it 4-3 at the end of the game - then we conceded a penalty. Of course I'm disappointed."
He also says that Cole should not have been sent off and that it wasn't a pen. The club have already said they'll appeal.
"I don't like to speak, it's the decision of the referee. I saw now it was not a penalty."
I don't like to speak about but but it wasn't a penalty. You've just spoken about it you fool!
