John Carew has been speaking with the lovely Lisa Smith of the Birmingham Post.
The Norwegian striker says the teams home form isn't good enough and he will do his best to change it over the Christmas period.
'We have had four home defeats now and that is four too many. The public pay to come and see us and would have deserved to see even better performances at home. As players we are giving our best but we want to give the public the pleasure at Villa Park like we have done away.'
Adding, 'We have had some good away results but we want to share them with our public who turn up at Villa Park, the ones who come every other week. That makes me a bit sad but I am sure we will put it right. We are still in a good position. There is no reason to hang our heads. We have had a good winning streak and we have to try for that again.'
He also says he is returning to full fitness and feeling 'sharp'.
He also praises the Villa fans on the official site saying we've been 'fantastic' adding, 'They cheer us loudly all the time. They are fantastic with every player. They also have patience with us when we're not playing our best. That gives us the ability to get back to our best quickly because we're not under pressure. They have been superb and it's like having an extra man on the pitch. They are very important for us.'
And on the boss, 'Martin O'Neill is great to work with and I'm delighted to have him as my manager. He gets the best out of all his players. You can see, in a short time, what he has achieved. He is a good manager and also a good person.'
Must admit JC has started to show why the big man came with such a big reputation, lets hope he gets fitter, sharper and starts to really bang the goals in, that should help us reach for Europe this season.
