Transfer Priorities For January?

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by Lee Lindsay, what is the transfer window priority?

Surprise, surprise, 61% voted for a right-back. January should see the target that Martin O'Neill has been hanging on for finally moving to Villa. Wonder who!?

22% voted for a playmaker and 8% wanted a right-winger.

That left just 5% saying a striker although I'd doubt any of us will complain if we get another one as a Christmas gift to the squad!

Other results:

Left-back 1%
Goalkeeper 1%
Central defender 1%
Midfielder 1%

There doesn't seem to be the same optimism and/or enthusiasm amongst the supporters regarding the January window, when compared to the wild optimism that we viewed last summers window. A case of once burned I wonder?
