Villa youth take on Crewe Alexandra tonight at Villa Park in the 3rd Round of the FA Youth Cup.
The kick off is 7pm and entry is free.
The youth coach Tony McAndrew told the official site:
"I enjoy the Youth Cup. It gives the kids a chance to play at Villa Park. They get an idea of what it's like to compete on the big stage and big stadiums. It's part of the learning curve and we'll be looking to see how they cope with that challenge."
And on the opponents: "Crewe are one of the top academies. They bring players through and they play football the right way. It will be a tough game. They got a great result in the last round. Cambridge were a big, strong, physical side so we'll have to be at our best this evening to progress."
