Hope the awards aren't a kiss of death but well deserved for MON although still think Gabbys has come early. Agreed that he is on good form and improving all the time, still not the finished article but I have faith that he will come good. UTV

Well deserved both. Gareth picking up an award also tomorrow. How times have changed.

Surprised to see Gabby pick that award up, i think theres still more to come from him, hes been quiet (due to injury) in the past 2 games. Things are looking very rosey at the moment, hopefully we can pull through this Christmas for once!

I'm not he has scored goal's (including in a derby match) and also provided a couple of assists i think, well done gabby and Mon.

I seem to remember we won the game after MON last won it for us. Fingers crossed history repeats

Where are '48 and the rest of "those who know better"?

Don't worry - they'll all be back as soon as we have a poor result ... :o)

how often does this manager of the month award then see the manager who wins its side lose their next game...
pompeyrug
Great achievement by both and deserved too. Seems we are so used to losing that some of us can no longer win gracefully. Lets enjoy the 'wins' wherever they come from - we have a lot of losses to make up for. Its another step on the road to total success.

merlin, after the last two home reversals, I tend to agree with you.

Well it proved to be the kiss of death.
