FA Cup Shambles? 24 or 25?
I was rubbish at maths as I was far too interested in talking to the ever lovely Lucy and my mates at the back of the class.
However, even with my poor mathematical prowess, I know that the number twenty four looks like this:
24
It is quite easy, you just put a 2 and a 4 side by side.
I can further dazzle you by explaining with 25 you just go put a 2 and a 5 next to each other.
So why when the FA held the draw for the FA Cup did they say that we were drawn against Number 24, Manchester United as opposed to the number 25 ball that Sammy Nelson was clearing holding up which would have seen us playing Middlesbrough at home?
You'll also notice from the clip below, that Sammy looks like he knew he'd made a mistake and covered the second ball drawn out (25) up slightly.
And why are they still denying the mistake?

As for me, I don't care, we are going to win anyway, I've made up my mind!

Not really bothered myself but there is a principle here and the fixtures should be changed overwise why bother with a draw? Why doesn't Terry Brooking just make up the ties and save money on the draw? Another 'balls up' by the FA?

I'd much prefer Middlesbore to Man U as it would be a lot easier, but we're bound to beat Man Utd eventually. Although I'd prefer 3 points off them in the league!

It looks like 24 after reading that blog, I dont think even an ex footballer can be that stupid to read out a number wrong. If it was jason mcateer I would of questioned it!

I dont quite know what to think or believe, suffice to say that we'll be at home to Manchester United in round three whether we like it or not. I tend to take col8's positive approach-We're gonna dump Sir's lot out of the competition, so what does a rigged draw matter?
