Mystic Mug Predicts Villa Win
Mark Lawrenson has predicted a 1-1 draw in the Aston Villa v Arsenal game on Saturday.
He told the BBC site: 'Both teams are in great form at the moment, so let's go for a draw. Villa have sneaked up into sixth place without anyone knowing and Arsenal rested players midweek against Sevilla, so manager Arsene Wenger will have his big guns back for this tie.'
Mystic Mug 
is sticking his neck out and going for the first Villa win v Arsenal in nine years. 1-0 will do nicely. Our last win against the Gunners was under John Gregory in 1998 (3-2). Our record since is 12 losses and 5 draws.

So what do you think, can Villa give us another great home performance like the Chelsea one? The good news is I missed Chelsea through ill health and we won 2-0 and this week Hoodoo Fear will also not be at Villa Park as my mate is getting married - the mad fool! :o( Hopefully my absence will bring us luck!!!!

villa to win 2-1 only if gabby plays or 0-0 draw if he dont (dont think we will attack enough if hes not playing)but defence to stay strong.....well hes either farted or *****e himself but he must like it hes trying to taste it.

I got a really good feeling about this match, And let's face it Arsenal are not that great without Fabby, and they aren't so strong away from home either, they have only played 5 games away from home out of 13 and two of them were draws, also they have conceded 4 goals out of them 5 games.
And i'll tell you know when their 20th match has passed they won't be first, out of the next 7 games they have 5 away games including us portmouth, Everton, MiddlesVilla, Newcastle and at home they have Chelsea and Spurs so the next 7 games they won't keep their unbeaten record and i think we can break that unbeaten record at their first hurdle.
If Agbonlahor doesn't start i would like to see Maloney along side Carew then bring Moore on at 60th min, Maloney seems better starting but gets really tired and Moore seems to be great coming off the bench scoring most of his goals coming on and he is our best shots to goal ratio striker also well he was the last two seasons anyway.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha to the above comment. Arsenal are the best team in the Premiership. We have played 5 away and 7 at home. Whats your point? We played 2 more at home. If we played one more away it would be dead even. Beware. Do not underestimate the likes of Denilson, bendtner, Adebayor, Traore and Eboue. They would get into your first 11.

Still have great memories of the 3-2 comeback, but can't believe that that was our last win against them. Anyway our midfield will have to earn their wages tomorrow and we should draw at least bar any mistakes or lack of concentration ( Zat.) I think that Wenger is doing a turtle and not a tortoise, to a layman they may seem the same but In a biological respect, a tortoise is a kind of a turtle, but not all turtles are tortoises. ????

Arsenal are a great team, but they're not unbeatable. We are in terrific form at the moment so we stand our best chance in years of doing them.

I'm not gonna disagree with Goofle, but i would say drop the arrogance, you might be surprised by some of villa's first team also. Ashley young, barry, carew and petrov are all beginning to bring it together for us. Hopefully be a good even game.

Even the guy doing the game preview on Vital Arsenal has gone for a Villa Win! Personally I cant see it. Would be delighted with a point but can see Arsena;ls class showing and us losing 2-0

I agree Johnny I've got massive respect for Wenger and the way he plays the game, and I dont mind Arsenal fans because they aren't as arrogant as United, Chelsea or even Spurs fans (although what the hell have they got to be arrogant about?)
