Villa Youth Goes On Loan To Yeovil

19-year-old Villa midfielder Zoltan Stieber has gone out on loan to Yeovil Town.

The Hungarian youth international is expected to make his debut at Millwall, talk about a baptism of fire!

He told the official site: 'It will be good for me to get some experience playing in League One. I hope to get closer to my dream of playing for Aston Villa's first team. I'm really enjoying my football at Villa and I'm very happy here. Now I will do my best for Yeovil. Hopefully create some goals and score some goals. It is important for me to get some first team games and hopefully this move will help me improve as a player.'

Stieber had interest from other teams but Kevin McDonald advised him Yeovil was his best option.

I hope this is the first step in hardening up the young lad for the demands of the English senior games.....what a prospect he is, and just the type of player we are crying out for if he can manage to step up.

Will do him the world of good, just what he needs. He'll find it very competitive, and he'll have to learn to stand up and look after himself. My only complaint about him is that at times he's lightweight, this experience will hopefully toughen him up, both mentally and physically.

Looks a fantastic prospect. A bit of competitive action is just the ticket for this kid.

Certainly will be a culture shock to him, but this sort of experience is the perfect education for promising youngsters making their way in the game.
