To Crouch Or Not To Crouch?

Vital Villa asked, following rumours that Villa are chasing the signing of Peter Crouch from Liverpool, whether you would like the England striker back at Villa Park.

42% said yes please and a further 9% said yes if he costs no more than £10million.

26% preferred the thoughts of signing Nicolas Anelka who has been linked recently with big spending Manchester City and also Chelsea (with Drogba linked outwards)

12% wanted Spurs striker Jermain Defoe.

That left 8% saying they would prefer a different option and just 3% said an out and out no, voting that a player should never return.

According to reports today Harry Redknapp is also keen on buying Peter Crouch for Portsmouth. Man City have also been linked but then again, with a rumoured £150million to spend, who won't they be linked with?

Our latest poll, suggested by Tallaght Villan, asks whether Gary Cahill should be ahead of Zat Knight in the squad.

Harewood out Crouch IN!!!!!
MattUTV
Agree with MattUTV. We have a good chance of getting Crouchy back in. Even if we did land Anelka you know he'd always be angling after another move somewhere.

If it was a possibilty its a definate yes from me, but cant see Rafa wanting to sell once he realise how crap Voronin and Kuyt are.

Personally I'd have to say a resounding no. I didn't shed a tear when he left us, and I wouldn't be over keen to see him back. I've read and heard all the supposed statistics that back up the fact that he's now this wonderful footballer and top goalscorer, but I aint buying it.
glensider
I'd have him back, but no more than £10m. His record for England and even Liverpool (when he plays) is outstanding.
