The Fear
Short but sweet article (says all it needs to really)

Cant smile wide enough this fine morning.

It's just about sunk in now. Great performance, completely professional and determined, we just showed our class against lower level opponents. Gabby earned his place in Villa folklore with that clearance off the line, followed by his winner, all within a couple of minutes. Nice little statistic for you - even though they got the double over us twice the last time they were up, they never beat us for three games in a row. There's only one team in Brum. Up the Villa. Gabby for England!

Nothing like rubbing it in!!! Good game and deserved the win, just.
will it ever happen
Another stat for you... Gabby is the leading English goalscorer in the Premiership.
IanSymes
We're the pride of Brum, we shall not be moved!!

will this derby be remebered for agbonlahors brilliance or ridgewells faults.
villabikes29
Definitely Agbonlahor's brilliance - the scenes at the end were terrific!

Bit long-winded Mr Fear but I can forgive you. Been good at work today. Telling the Wolves and baggy fans that I hope they get promoted so we can have some competition for the Kings of the Midlands. Grinning like a chesire cat 8-)

We all know that we're not the finished article yet, we still have some way to go, but hopefully this result will help boost both confidence and morale as we face up to what promises to be a long, hard season, complete with many twists and turns, ups and downs. A top six final placing is our goal. Not an easy task, but hopefully one we'll keep striving for, despite the obvious set-backs that will be heading our way. As for right now though, isn't it great to be basking in the glory of remaining undisputed City Kings?

Just saw this on the BBC website - someone please tell me it isn't true?????? Aston Villa defender Gary Cahill is set to permanently join Sheffield United in a 1.5m deal. (various)

If it does turn out to be true YatesyVillain, this site (and others) will be on fire.
