Villa Team Announced, Hulk Is Back

The Villa team has been announced for the local derby v Blues:

VILLA: Carson, Mellberg, Bouma, Knight, Laursen, Petrov, Barry, Reo-Coker, Young, Agbonlahor, Carew.

Subs: Taylor, Moore, Davies, Gardner, Maloney.

John Carew and Ashley Young have both passed fitness tests and will start.

You could see he hadn't been playing he didn't look match fit at all. Managed to fluff a good chance in the first half.

Maybe I'm being a little harsh in my response. Yes he looked decidedly rusty, no he probably doesn't bag enough goals, but in my estimation he does a very important job leading the line, and offering the abilities and outlet that a good target man should. He must be a nightmare to have to defend against. His performance yesterday did for me.
