'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Mystic Mug, Lawro and Fans Say Win

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by Mystic Mug, asked what Villa will do today against Derby.

15% predicted we'd thrash the Rams in our warm up local derby ready for next weekends action.

39% said we'd win by 2 or more and the same amount predicted a straight win.

That left only 2% expecting a loss and 5% saying Villa would draw.

Mystic Mug says 2-0 which he also predicted against Bolton, make of that what you will. I made a nice paper hat.

BBC pundit Mark Larwreson also says 2-0 Villa adding:

'It may be really early in the season but I'm sorry to say that Derby are doomed. And normally Villa's home form is very good, so I cannot see them getting anything here. Come January it will be interesting to see if the new investment in Derby can give them a fighting chance of survival.'

Our next poll will be the man of the match after the game, meanwhile you can let me know, what do you prefer, apples, bananas or oranges. :o)

I guess you would be eating that paper hat now ay? 2-0
AussieVilla
A comfortable enough win in the end, but for a long time it looked as if those Vital Villans that backed a draw were the one's who were going to prove that it was their fingers on the pulse.

Wasn't the hardest of games to predict the winner of was it? Derby were god awful!
DeanoVilla
Got to agree DeanoVilla. Many so called experts said that last seasons Championship was very poor, and in Derby County we could clearly see that that was obviously the case. They are way, way out of their depth.
