That left Martin Laursen on 6%.

Shaun Maloney (0%)

Bouma for me.

Hmmm....I had to watch it with no sound and I would day that the intro of Luke Moore meant that we got something out of the game, he finally played with a bit of ooomph !! cant believe he didnt get more votes....Petrov was definately better but he is there to create and from my knowledge he didnt do that at all !!! Bouma , hand ball aside, was his consistent self, says alot for the rest that no one surpassed him

5.5 out of 10 too!

Petrov on the day was definitely our best performer, but in honesty that isn't really saying much. A very sub-standard showing by the lads, and it was fortunate for us that Bolton simply didn't have enough about them to make us pay. Nowhere near good enough I'm afraid.

I'm not Petrov's greatest fan, but he was our best player on the day. Let's give credit where it's due. Glensider is right. We have to radically rethink our approach to away matches. This has been a problem for several seasons now. If we don't win away we will not finish in the UEFA places. Look at Blackburn, Portsmouth, Man City and Newcastle. All have won away and all are above Villa.

I've noticed a few say that Berger made the difference when he came on. I might have missed something, I thought by his standards he was awful, his passing wasn't great and his shots were 200 miles wide. Guess what I'm asking is am I talking out of my hat again, did I miss his contribution!? I think he is a top quality player by the way, it wasn't me slating him for slating sense, he is probably the most skillful player we have, albeit at the end of his career.
The Fear
I thought that Berger looked ok for the first 15 minutes and then didnt really do anything else, so i suppose tyo ucould say he and Luke made the difference as it was that 15 minute spell that got us a point !!
Bearvill
well done stan should be good for his confidence, do you think he deserves to start against derby then??
villabikes29
Absolutely villabikes29. Reo-Coker hasn't in my opinion been doing the business so personally I'd think twice about immediately recalling him. Petrov looked the pick of a very bad bunch at The Reebok, but in my book he still deserves to start this coming Saturday. Berger I thought was disappointing, while Luke, apart from his goal, wasn't as impressive as Shaun Maloney had been in the first half.
