According to The Sun today, Villa fans are the fourth loudest in the Premiership.
The study was commissioned by phone numbers service 118 118.

i was about to say that pking, but i seriously dnt think these standings reflect how much the fans sing i mean we should be top! seriously i dont know why liverpool are 16th and so on.

we may have the higher desibel but if they did that test at a PACK NEW WEMBLEY when england just scored the winning goal against the germans in injury time villa would still come out louder
all grounds are different sizes ( wembley massive) and all are different hights and all have different exposures to the sky...
the smaller and lower the stadium with more of the roof covered will give a louder sound.
something the size of wembly or the millenium stadium is hugely wide, vastly tall and a gaping hole in the roof if required.
so 90,000 fans screaming there wont be as loud as 40,000 fans in a much more packed smaller villa park
sorry. just means we have a smaller ground with more fans in attendence on the day than the club above us lolts on the site.
