At Last - Barry Back In England Fold

At Last - Barry Back In England Fold

AT LAST!

It has just been announced that Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry has at last returned to the England fold.

The Villa captain, who had been out in the cold thanks to Sven, has been named in the England squad for next week's friendly international against Spain.

Barry will be looking to earn his 9th England cap.

Good news, what is it with Villa these days, what has happened to all the doom, gloom and anger?

Oh, and well done Steve McClaren.

Really pleased for Gazza Bazza, but I still think Mclaren is an incompetant prat! I bet he doesnt even get a kick.

Coming after Macarrone's withering comments it's the only decent thing McCaren could have done. Even better if Captain Marvel celebrates with a goal tomorrow.

Lets just hope he gets a fair crack of the whip now, still cynical about that though as Downing is in the squad too and we all know he's 'teacher's pet'

never mind the "well done Steve McClaren", Barry has given him no option but to pick him. I cant stand bloody McClaren - I dont believe Maccarone was misquoted for one minute when he said he was a two faced idiot with no balls - he is
