Villa Ask For Transport Feedback

Villa Ask For Transport Feedback

The club have issued a survey asking how fans travel to games as transport and parking is a very hot issue and was brought up repeatedly at the Supporters Consultation Group meeting.

The survey takes less than a couple of minutes so following the excellent response the club got for the Club Crest consultation, why not let them know your opinion on getting to the games!?

Dear Supporter

Transport was a hot topic during a recent Supporter Consultation Group meeting and we want to gather as much information as possible about how supporters get to home games.

We will be looking at car parking plus the importance of train and bus networks - in short, every aspect of travel to Villa Park.

The success of the survey will obviously depend on your responses. At the core of the board's vision for the future is the view of supporters, so please take the time to make your voice heard.

As an added incentive, all fans who take part will have their names entered in to a draw to win a season ticket for 2007-08.

Your input will help us make informed decisions on a match day transport strategy, so please play your part!

Have your say by clicking on the link below.

I look forward to seeing your answers, and thank you again for your help.

With very best wishes

You might want to have a look at that link Fear, it appears to log you on with your username, as it says Survey already completed and I certainly havent done it before. When I logged out and logged back in with my normal username it all worked fine.

Are our new owners still looking to change the name of Witton Train Station to 'Aston Villa'? It would be fantastic if this is proposed. I live in Manchester and train maps on local north west and central trains show the Birmingham rail network - to have Aston Villa plastered on posters, on trains and stations across the region wouldn't harm the profile of our football club. Also, when the train announcement is heard over the PA system at New Street, many rail users from Brum and further a field would be reminded of our great club, and bluenoses would stick out a mile with their glum sour faces!

I think they are looking at options available bazzah, as you say, would be great if the local area was more involved with AV. The City should be proud of the team they have in it!

Yet again the new regime is to be applauded for inviting supporters to complete this very important survey.

Great idea all round, always thought the Club should look to ways of reaching surrounding areas ( i.e Bus from Solihull straight to Villa park ) with the cost nowadays to get in,this might just nudge people in right direction.
