Did this strange man (Steven Bruce), really believe in his wildest dreams that he had the remotest chance of luring Liam Ridgewell across the city to join this second rate outfit of his? The man is totally deluded, he has to be. Obviously the very fact that the board went against his wishes and desire to keep Upson at Small Heath, making him look a complete and utter idiot in the process, totally affected his mind, and he picked up the phone to call Martin while in a state of sheer lunacy. Thanks for the laugh Brucie. Even better than the 3-1 home defeat against Southend United.
