Cup Exit Just One Of Those Things

Right, last mention of Leicester City, after this we can focus on our win down at White Hart Lane on Monday night.

Vital Villa asked what was to blame for the Cup exit.

Just one of those things (30%)
Poor team performance from Villa (25%)
Poor team selection (22%)
Lack of quality in the squad (12%)
Leicester showed more desire (10%)
Bad finishing (1%)

So there you have it.

Watch out Spurs, the backlash starts here!

Where's the Leicester were the better team option? :D

Spurs to win a 7 goal thriller......!!

Our away form has been a bit ropey in the premiership this season. Spurs have a big celebration going on (like ours against Sheff U). I'd be pleased with a reaction and a point.

Ropey away form? We have played 2 games.....Newcastle away which we should have won but drew 0-0 and Man City away which we should have at least got a point from? Ropey?

I blame the players 100% for the other evenings humiliation. MON sent out a strong side, surely capable of seeing off a struggling Championship outfit. They let themselves and the club down. A shambles.

The players and MON are all at fault as they all had shockers.
Rickymeister
on the night, the team MON put out was definitely good enough to win, but if he had bought a good striker in the window (i.e. better than harewood), i reckon it would have been a different result. and its either a great time, or an awful time to play spurs.
ric112
well, if they can beat you guys at villa park, and we can't, they're gonna cause us problems too. any tips?

It would be nice to think a backlash was on the cards, I think If Villa come away with anything from this game it will be a result 0-0 anyone?

I aint having that! MON picked the wrong team, end of!
DeanoVilla
MON picked players capable enouigh of beating a lowly Championship side. If we dont have strength in depth to see off the likes of Leicester City, then we've got BIG problems.
