Little Faith In Villa Strikers :-(
Gulp, looks like the Villa faithful have err, little faith in the Villa strikers to get close to 20 goals this season according to our last poll.
Let The Revolution B asked: Which of our strikers can get closest to 20 goals this season?
The majority, with 59%, voted, 'Nobody will get close - MON please sort!'
The player most likely according to 19% was Luke Moore, leaving John Carew on 8%, Gabby on 7% and the rest as also rans.
I wouldn't have bet against homesick Shaun Maloney myself, but then again, he doesn't get a look in. He is after-all our top scorer!

Hmm I think Luke Moor has the ability so does carew all they need is a couple of goals to jump start it.

Luke Moore def potential. It does not matter if no one gets twenty as long as the goals come and are spread around. Gabby, 8, Young 8, Maloney 10, luke 15 , Gardner creating and Barry with 6 etc etc. We looked good at the end of last season and keep playing Luke and the goals will come.

JC, Gabby and Luke will do well to score 20 goals between them. All have creditable individual attributes, but they all have it all to prove when it comes to consistent goal-scoring at The premiership level.

Well, which ever way you look at it...they are getting there chance!Between now and Jan we can't get anyone else in.If they are getting games and not scoring, don't start crying when they dropped in favour of new strikers.Goals talk...

Our shots per game ratio is always, but always, on the low side. Its no wonder we dont score goals in sufficient numbers.
