'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Great, I Can Use This Image!

The Daily Star claim that Ipswich are looking to take Aston Villa's 19-year-old Republic of Ireland defender Stephen O'Halloran on loan.

Championship teams can still take loans despite the transfer window closing.

Reason I'm repeating this rumour? Well, I've just got a new image of Stephen and was determined to use it!

O'Halloran played in Villa reserve's home 4-1 demolition of Fulham last night.

Scorers: Zoltan Stieber, Damian Bellon, Tobias Mikaelsson and Danny Earls.

Villa team: Bevan, Herd, O'Halloran, Lowry, Earls, Osbourne, D.Bellon, Hogg, Harewood, Mikaelsson, Stieber. Subs: Y.Bellon (on for O'Halloran 64), Boyle, Collins (on for Harewood 72), Delfouneso (on for Osbourne 64).

You could have just done a caption competition.

Anyone watch the game last night? How did Harewood and Delfouneso play?
son_of_cher
Are you sure that is not an old picture of Mark Kinsella?
voiceoftheholte
he does look a lot like Kinsella! and Harewood had some nice touches but didn't do too much, Delfounseso only had a few minutes and not enough time to do anything!
randy.stand
Looks like a cross between Hendrie and Kinsella.
Hoss The Villain
A loan spell at a Championship side would very definitely be a useful part of young Stephen's development, but in view of our current full back situation, I cant quite see how we could sanction such a move. Difficult one to call.
glensider
Give him some good experience, IF he gets first team footy. Futures bright.
*Holte*End*Star*
he must be one of the only players in the world to have have more International caps than first team club games.
Pking
Probably a good idea for him to get some game time, but then again, when the injuries come around we need numbers to back us u. therefore NO!
AussieVilla
Id like to see Steiber and the Bellon brothers go out on loan.
Pking
it's a fiasco - close the transfer window but open the loan window!
merlin
No doubt a few of our up and coming youngsters will be heading out for loan deals. Good luck to them all.
