Just goes to show that Ellis has no class what so ever. Propably aint used to winning much.

Picture Roman doing the same to Ellis when Chelsea trash Villa at home. He would be called a disgrace and showing lack of sportmanship.

Roman should be shot for shaking Dougs hand. I mean, it must be the first time in a very long time someone has done it and not subsequently been fired.

F**k Ellis, he's nothing to do with us anymore, Abramovic probably thought he was a guest from the local old soldiers home. Great performance, if we can progress through the season now it will be great. I hope it has made all the doom and gloom football experts on here realise that it takes more than buying primadonna's to win football matches, hard work, team spirit added to hunger, pace and determination brought that result yesterday and long may it continue. Dougy should have taken his hand away just as Roman was about the shake it - now that would have been hilarious!

I agree with astonmilan; thank goodness Ellis has no part if Villa any more. Ellis probably only did it to get someone at the ground to acknowledge him . I know one thing, if Ellis had still been in charge there would be no way that we could have won that game. It was a brilliant result by what is becoming a very good team.

Obediah, you have got to give him credit for the smug grin and audacity. He has held us back but our time is now and he was the custodian that left us in the prem (only just) and out of any debt and therefore a very good prospect for Randy. I am no fan atall but that was comedy genius. Already got it as a screensaver. He was just getting his own back for Milan Baros blanking him when he signed.

Can't believe Doug is getting criticised by some for this. Who wouldn't have done ths same in his position? I know I would've. RA is a prat for storming off beforfe the final whistle. Or does he want to get first in the queue for the train back to London?

Football365 ran a caption competition relating to this incident, and one of the better entries I thought (although surprisingly not the winning one) was the following entry:- Doug saying to Roman...."Hey Roman, if you really want them to win the European Cup, then you need to take two years off. That's what I did".
