This looks like another positive step from Villa, as the official site has announced they have laid on buses for a trial 'Villa special' service to get fans from Tamworth, Solihull and Redditch on match days.
The official site explains:
Villa Specials will depart from respective train stations two hours before kick-off time. The drop off location will be outside Witton Station. The bus will then collect passengers adjacent to the Holte Pub on Witton Lane 30 minutes after the game and return passengers to Tamworth, Redditch or Solihull (buses will leave on time). The price for a 'Villa Special' return is £3.00. Tickets must be pre-booked from Aston Villa consumer sales on 0800 612 0970 (places are limited).
Services are confirmed for the following fixtures:
Everton - Sunday 23rd September 2007 - KO 2.00pm
West Ham United - Saturday 6th October 2007 - KO 3.00pm
Manchester United - Saturday 20th October 2007 - KO 5.15pm
Derby County - Saturday 3rd November 2007 - KO 3.00pm
