Jumper Jumper No Longer At Villa

Aston Villa have announced a stunning blow to Villa fans in the news that midfielder Jumper Jumper has been allowed to leave Villa Park.

Eric Djemba-Djemba, who joined us under David O'Leary from Manchester United has had his contract cancelled by mutual agreement.

Manager Martin O'Neill told the official site: 'Eric has not had the best of times since he arrived here from Old Trafford a couple of years ago. This arrangement will give the player the chance to reignite his career and we wish him the best of luck in the future.'

The Djemba twins have been linked, probably by his agent, to all sorts of teams on the continent. Good luck Eric, hope you find a decent club, what happened at Villa can't have been the nicest of experiences, although I wish they'd take me on, pay me and not play me, that sort of job would suit me down to the ground!!!

Do anyone else think that he was a panic buy because O'Thingy was unable to bring anyone in in the window

I think he was probably a decent gamble. Not often ManU buy players that are complete tosh, but in this instance it seems to have been the case....

Fergie didn't play him and was willing to let him go for under 2mil so that should have been an indication of how poor he was. The only good thing about him was his public slating of DOL. Good riddance.

Thing is YatesyVillain when ManU do buy complete tosh Fergie drops them like last nights curry. Our last manager thaught it was worth a gamble but we all know about his assessment qualities. Combine this with Jumbo Jumbos work ethic and the result was inevitable. Glad hes gone. Vacancy for Sneijder i dream.

Let's hope that becomes "how shrewd are villa in the transfer market?" shortshady. Don't forget the Twins were an Ellis/O'Leary production, bought because of fan pressure on HDE and (undoubtedly) HDE pressure on DOL to buy somebody - anybody. Now let's be grateful that, no matter how slow and tortuous it seems to us, and no matter how much fan pressure builds up, the new managerial team can bring in players who will actually do a job for us before leaving. In my opinion, they aren't doing too badly so far.
