Glenn Roeder - What A Dummy

Martin O'Neill has dismissed Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder's comments about the not having enough 'courage' to take on the Magpies job. Dismissed Glenn, look up the word, it is one you are bound to come up against again come the summer.

Roeder said: 'If a person doesn't want this job, then you have to question his courage.'

Martin O'Neill retorted in an interview with The Sun 'Whatever he said was full of great imagination and not much fact behind it. What happened is not important now and it is certainly not relevant.'

'I have a job at Aston Villa and it's one I want to do.'

So feck orf Roeder! ;o)

When you get your first premiership club relegated and the only job you can have is running a youth academy I presume you will take any job that you get the sniff off. What a twart, I presume you need courage to put yourself forward for the most high profile job in the world - england manager.

Like ourselves they have had some poor managers, I would have loved to see them achieve something under Sir Bobby, what a gent? Keegan made the biggest mistake, and after geting Newcastle to a place where they could (and should) have won the league he decided to drop Beardsley and bring in aspria (have not got a clue how to spell it) and the rest is history.

There's only one way to answer this kind of disrespect...give Newcastle a good, sound hiding like we did two seasons ago.

All MON has to do is put the headline on the dressing room wall. The lads should nail the Toons as a mark of respect for the MON. This is how much Roeder knows about pyscology. Just the edge Villa need! COME ON YOU LIONS!!

roeder is a complete arse! his own fans dont trust him and the team is run by the chairman who is too fond of the media. Shepard makes all the transfer decisions and reoder doesnt even know who they are interested in or whats going on half the time. Never heard anything of substance come from his lopsided mouth

I cant believe he said that what a clown.Roeders first season in charge of a club they finished 7 and were relegated next season. Then at WHAM he finished 7 got relegated next season, guess where Newcastle finished last season ? somewhere between 6 and 8.

MON did does deserve comments such as this. It shows a complete lack of respect for a fellow manager. I have never had much time for Roeder, he seems to spend to much time trying to talk a good game. Yesterday he signed a player and was unsure of his name at the press conference, speaks volumes for me. Im glad MON did not rise to it, he has shown himself to be a truly dignified man and goes up in my estimation every time he opens his mouth.

Roeders a man living on borrowed time up there. Fat Freddie is probably the only chairman out there who would have even give Roeder another managerial opportunity. Roeder was already on the staff, and no doubt cheap. Plus it saved Fat Freddie the indignity of being turned down by any name managers he might have approached.
