Jlloyd Samuel Threatens Villa Exit

Jlloyd Samuel Threatens to Leave

According to the Daily Mirror, Jlloyd Samuel has warned Martin O'Neill that if he does not win his place back he will leave in the summer;

'I just want to play football. If that doesn't happen, I'll have to go elsewhere' he is credited with saying.

I find this hard to stomach. After only being back from injury for a couple of weeks and out of form for 2 years it seems a bit rich for him to be coming out with statements like this already.

Surely this wont endear him to MON who I think would have preferred him to keep his mouth shut, get his head down and try to improve his form thus naturally leading to a chance to stake his claim in the side. Once again a footballer is too quick to run to the papers.

I believe Samuel has just committed career suicide at the Villa.

Would he be missed?

What a tool. The closest thing to success he has achieved is that he was almost 3rd choice left back for England a few years ago and now he thinks he's Bertie Big Banana. If he really did say it then lets ship him out pronto and get a few quid for his lazy arse while we still can.

hell no

Shut the door on the way out!

I agree with macka, he is running off at the mouth without putting in the performances. It seems there is no such thing as loyalty anymore among these overpaid footballers, just self interest. If he feels like that then it is better he goes. I want to see people at Villa Park who are willing to die for the team not moan because they are not playing well enought to be included. The club is much bigger than some little upsart who thinks he can hold the club to ransom.

Ship him out, a move away is best for him , he's not exactly a fans favourite is he (anyone ever seen a fan with his name on their shirt??) Saying things like this will only make matter worse for him.

Yup sure did, its burnley or sumthin for you

Its all been downhill since he did MTV cribs and made a fool of himself!
son_of_cher
Who the hell does he think he is.Hes only back from injury and was appauling last season.Has done nothing to warrant a contract let alone a starting place.Let him go enjoy the delights of Charlton. These are the kind of players we need to get rid of.
Pking
Its good to see a player who demands to play for his team but this has to be tempered with upsetting the applecart with the rest of his team mates. Its an old football adage that no one player is bigger than the club, in JLS case this was never more true. I seem to remember a while back the rumours he had been tapped up, maybe this is the start of his exit from Villa?

If thats how he is gonna be then good ridence
Christo
If this is true, he needs to EARN his place and pull his bloody neck in, that is not going to please the MON in charge

Cheerio JLloyd.
pongogidman
Having been officially the worst passer in the Prem 2 seasons ago (Opta) it just proved my belief that JLS could not pass urine let alone a football so let him go - the sooner the better

Who? Mind your step on the way out...Now let's get rid and buy Matt Taylor from Portsmouth!!!!!!
koolbill
mmm i do think he is speaking too early after injury and bouma is playing rather well but i watched him many a time when he was first choice left back when he had dreadlocks and he was very good. he looked like he had much potential and i distinctly remember him dribbling round the whole chelsea right flank and gettin in a cross. if he could get bak to them days i think he wud be anuva gd player but at the moment he has got to prove it. but samuel i think is not a wasted case. he may still come gd. i say keep the faith! .......but then if he saying these things and doesn wanna say then fine not majorly missed cos we have barry to cover....gd luck JLOYD!

If he does move on, we'll get over it. We'll survive.
