Unoial Villa News...

Did an interview for tonight's edition of Midlands Today. If it makes it into the programme the interview is about progress at Villa, the fact the General comes onto the Vital forum (and others) to speak with the fans etc. I must say I was looking particularly handsome today and I'm sure it will lead to yet more women stalking and pestering me. Thems the breaks I guess. :o) (Do I need to spell it out that was a joke or will even the thickest see the tongue in cheek nature of the comment, no probably not).

Images of the Holte Hotel renovations, albeit ruined once again by the stamp put on due to the fact they were to be made available to the independent sites. Must admit, I'd rather they weren't available to us and that the photos were shown without the pettiness added. Ho and indeed diddly hum. Full article: Click Here

Martin O'Neill says the clash against Watford is simply about 'winning at all costs' after 12 games without a win. Mystic Mug says 3-1 to Villa, even Mark Lawrenson is backing us to win. Full article: Click Here

Villa have had a bid accepted for Watford's Ashley Young and according to Martin O'Neill, the player is 'pretty keen'. Full article: O'Neill - Young Pretty Keen

Former Leeds and Villa manager David O'Leary has been made second favourite behind Gary McCallister for the Coventry City job by bet365. O'Leary sent to Coventry? Perfect!

Left-back Jlloyd Samuel says on-loan defender Phil Bardsley is exactly the sort of player Villa need in the run in to the end of the season. Stiliyan Petrov is unlikely to be fit for tomorrows game v Watford but should have recovered in time for the trip to Newcastle United on Jan 31st. Full article: Samuel, Bardsley and Petrov

Vital Villa asked if you'd like to see a new club crest. 67% said they'd like a round badge, 7% the shield with no stripes and 2% 'other'. That left 24% saying they didn't want a new crest and wanted it left as it is.

According to The Times, Aston Villa have made a move for Tottenham midfielder Teemu Tainio. Full article: Click Here

DO'L joining Coventry? Well, at least we won't have to see him in the Prem for a while.

Still plenty of feel good stories coming out of VP. All we have to do now is beat Watford and things will be looking reasonably bright again.

All happening at the moment, or is it? Young to sing Y/N things moving with Baros Y/N could be make or break time, depending on tomorrows result it could be Judgement Day.
