Manchester United Loss Predicted

Manchester United Loss Predicted

Mark Lawrenson, not unsurprisingly to be fair, has predicted a 2-0 loss for Villa v Manchester United today.

He said: 'Villa were unlucky in the FA Cup tie last weekend when they conceded a late winner but I still don't think they'll get anything here. Henrik Larsson has added to the talent and possibilities Manchester United already have.'

Mystic Mug, recovered from his recent spate of hopeless optimism, says 2-1 to Manchester United.

Olof Mellberg can return having served his one match ban. Steven Davis should be set to replace Stiliyan Petrov who is being rested due to a hamstring injury or lack of form depending on what report you read.

Man Utd (from): Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Silvestre, Evra, Heinze, Ronaldo, Park, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, O'Shea, Richardson, Saha, Giggs, Rooney, Solskjaer, Larsson.

Aston Villa (from): Sorensen?, Taylor?, Mellberg, Hughes, Cahill, Ridgewell, Bouma, Agbonlahor, McCann, Davis, Osbourne, Barry, Angel, Baros, Samuel, Hendrie.

Our latest poll asked, at the third time of asking, what result you expect at Old Trafford today, 27% said Villa would win, 17% that we'd gain a draw and 55% have gone for a loss.

We'll be lucky if they dont score more than one goal; and if we manage to score at all. just cant help but be negative nowadays. shades of the o'leary days, and im *****ed that weve only got one player in, and hes on loan, not even able to play against that big red devils pile of manure

damage limitation now, if ever there was a need for new players it was today, not sure about this not being held to ransom, if you want quality you have to pay, it isn't as if the prices will all of a sudden be reduced in the summer is it?
