blimey, he absolutely blasts 'the foolish rule', he hates the transfer window and sounds totally frustrated and not willing to be held to ransom.

MON is absolutely right, Clubs should be free to buy and sell players at any time. What's so special about football? Every other enterprise is free to "hire and fire" at anytime. After all, every employmee is on a contract, whether 1 week or 1 year. An open system would get rid of the "cattle auction" mentallity which currently prevails in football, surely designed to push-up transfer fees and in turn, agents fees and taxation!

Agree villacross. This January transfer window is a 'pot of crock', serving no purpose, causing only frustration, pressure, unrest, and over-inflated transfer fee's.

I don't like the the January sales but thems the rules so just pull your head in MON and get on with it!
