Santa Is A Villa Fan!!
Santa is a Villa fan. It is official! We asked what you want for Christmas. 24% said Ellis to leave, and within a few hours of closing the poll, the news was released that a deal for a £64million takeover should happen within the next week!
53% of fans wanted 9 points for Villa, with games against Everton (home), Fulham (away) and Arsenal (home) over the Christmas period, who knows? As long as the manager doesn't use the excuse that the takeover talk has upset them all, I think we'll be alright!
As for the other votes, 11% wanted O'Leary sacked, 6% wanted world peace (!!), and 3% wanted either an Xbox 360 or Blues boss Steve Bruce to get sacked!
So there you go, Ellis to go. Maybe not as big an event as world peace would be, but it is a very good start!
