'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It Doesn't Matter Who Villa Play.

Well, according to last weeks poll, it doesn't matter what strike partnership David O'Leary decides to go with, because none of the strikers get the supply anyway!

I must admit I'm pleased with that result because I've been saying - along with many other Villa fans - that players like Angel haven't become average over night, it is the plain simple fact that our tactics don't result in a decent supply line to the strikers, we (we, blimey, I wish!) don't get behind defences very often and regularly try the long ball which will never work when all our strikers are under six feet and the majority of defenders are over 6 feet!

We asked what was your favourite partnership, 41% said it didn't matter due to the lack of supply. 33% said Phillips and Baros, 19% went for Baros with Angel and amazingly 5% said Hercules and Bella the mascots!!! Only 1% chose either Angel and Phillips or Angel and Moore. I think over time the Moore votes will grow, he'll be a Villa star in the next few seasons, still plenty of improvements to make, but a great prospect. Lets just hope Villa can keep hold of him!

Our latest poll asks if Villa should accept Delaney's transfer request.
