Vital Villa asked for your predictions ahead of the home game against Bolton Wanderers today.
62% have said a win.
22% predict another draw
16% said we'd lose to the long ball specialists.
Talking about drawing (seamless link) Stiliyan Petrov says we must shake off our draw specialist tag and start picking up some valuable 3 point wins.
'Draws away from home are good results, but only if you can win your home games. We need to do that and so far we haven't won enough at home. We've not done badly, but we know we need to get more aggressive at Villa Park and pick up a few more home wins. That is very important. We know that with all these draws, losing one game will bring us back down the table. But we have a home game today and we'll look to improve on Monday. There are lots of positives we can take into this game.'
Adding: 'Bolton are playing well and it will be a physical game, but it's up to us. The fans have been incredible and I hope we're going to make them happy with a home win.'
Mark Lawrenson is predicting a loss for Villa, again, on the bbc site he says: I thought the quality of Bolton's football last week was exceptional. Their opening goal proved that Bolton are not just a team which plays route one football. Villa have done better than most people expected this season but I think they might just be due a hiccup. and again predicts a 2-1 loss.
Mystic Mug
seems to think the exact opposite of anything the guy with the moustache says and predicts a 2-1 home victory.
Last week he predicted a 2-1 loss for Villa against Sheffield United and was wrong.
Last week mystic mug predicted a 2-1 win to Villa and was also very sadly wrong!
