Kiraly To Make Debut v Bolton

Gabor Kiraly has joined Villa on loan and teamed up with the rest of the squad this morning.

The 30-year-old Hungarian international shot stopper, who will make his debut for Villa against Bolton tomorrow, told the official site:

'Peter Taylor called me into his office yesterday morning and said Aston Villa have a problem with their goalkeepers and could I help. I did the same thing for West Ham two weeks ago and I am happy to help out over what is a busy time in the Premiership. Villa are doing very well this season and I am happy to come and help out. Of course I must quickly learn some names. But I will train today and quickly get to know people.'

'My first game in the Premier League came against Aston Villa. So for me Villa Park is a very special stadium. It was a special day for me and the fans from my Hungarian city were behind the goal to see my debut. Now I am looking forward to my Aston Villa debut. I am 30-years-old and not a young goalkeeper any more.I can try to help and hopefully help Aston Villa to a few wins.'

'It is good to play in the Premier League again and good to play for a team doing very well this season. Hopefully that will continue tomorrow.'

Kiraly is said to be quite a character............ gulp!

Good little keeper, addicted to his baggy Grey Tracky bottoms!!

I think he will do a decent job, looked a really good shot stopper when ive seen him. Should be interesting.

I'm going to change my match prediction from 3-0 Villa, to 3-1 Bolton on the strength of this clown keeping goal for us.

So, if he becomes a Villa hero, will the club issue a series of limited edition Kiraly sweat pants for everyone?

Got to be positive about this setback (the injury to ST not the arrival of Kiraly). While I would have unhesitatingly started young Olejnik in goal, MON obviously knows best, so its time to get behind our Hungarian international, and give him our 100% support.

Good luck to him, obviously MO'N doesn't believe The Beast is ready to start yet.

Anyone who gives this guy a hard time on his debut needs a slap. We need to score goals to beat bolton and were bound to let in 1 or 2 against their high ball's and throw ins, Davies is a nightmare for any defender.....

Got to feel for young Olejnik. He must have felt that the opportunity to impress had finally arrived. An opportunity lost I fear to test out the young lad.
