Lyon Want Milan Baros?

Vital Villa asked in last weeks poll what is your opinion on Milan Baros?

52% said he would become a top striker abroad.

21% said he will not fulfil his potential.

16% said he would become a top striker for Villa.

9% say he is average at best.

2% were unsure - I wonder if that included Martin O'Neill.

Reports in todays papers claim that Lyon, top of the French division, would like to take the Czech Republic striker on loan but that the Villa boss isn't keen.

A move afoot in January perhaps?

But I bet he'd sell if they came with a cash offer for more that £4 million. I don't care how good he "appears" to be, if a striker can't score then he's not much use. If he's not scoring by sommer get rid!!!
Villain Of The North
i say get rid anyway and buy a right winger and use gabby upfront with angel or sutton or moore when fit and mabye buy a striker like defoe or bellamy
Newman
Sell but dont loan. Cant see how the latter would benefit us in any way. Despite his agents claims that he (Baros) is not unhappy at VP, body language and attitude would suggest otherwise.

let him go, Lyon can send us some cakes in his place.

the same thing happened to me on a championship manager game Lyon wanted Baros and wouldn't leave me alone so I sold him and bought another striker called Pinella. could exactly the same thing happen in real life?
Christo
Maybe Lyon would swap Carew plus cash for Baros (or if push comes to shove, drop the cash part). Carew is a big, strong stiker with an eye for goal. Personally I don't like him as he looks really clumsy but he does have a good record, better than Baros' in England anyway.
Villain Of The North
I have a sneaky feeling that MON likes Baros, so I expect him to stay, until the end of the season at least

You know that when Milan does go he will become a different player, i,e Savo, so all i can say is if he leaves just get the money back.
silkie villain
We should be learning lessons from people like savo and crouch: sell him for a reasonable deal now, but with decent sell on fees etc.
lorenzo
Absolutely nothing in it for us to send him out on loan, as he still wouldnt want to play for us when he returned. Just gotta get some cash for him now.
DeanoVilla
Houllier rates him very highly from what I've read. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there. Decent team, poor league.
