Vital Villa asked what is your preferred striker partnership amongst the currently fit players? Gabriel Agbonlahor and Chris Sutton got nearly half of the votes with 43% wanting the speed and brawn combo. 28% said Gabby and Angel closely followed by Chris Sutton and Angel with 23%. That left just 2% opting for Gabby and Baros, Angel and Baros or Sutton and Baros.

Well this makes for pleasant reading. Despite some thinking that Milan Baros is looking to leave Villa Park, his agent says the Czech Republic striker is not unhappy. Mind you, 'not unhappy' doesn't exactly say he is 'happy' does it? I must admit, I think he has the potential to be awesome, I'm just not sure the Premier League is the right stage for him and in some ways, his agent questions the same. Full article: Click Here

Another very interesting mixed bag of goodies over the past few days. Can imagine that come January this feature will be updated almost daily to keep up with whats going on.

Macka we may be able to sign some special players in Jan but I think the main strenghening will come in the summer window. IMHO the day MON walked through the gates of our place of worship, it felt like all my christmases had come at once anyway. UTV

I hope MON pounces immediately in January, in time for the big FA Cup tie vs the Mancs!

Think you're spot on there steff_the_villan, but certain positions really need strengthening without further delay. Trouble is of course, we can expect to pay over the odds by buying in January.
