Villa's reserve game against Chelsea which was due to be played this evening has been called off.
A pitch inspection was held at 12noon today and officials then postponed the game because of a waterlogged pitch.

I though we've just spent a fortune laying a new pitch -doesn't say much for the drainage systems. What's it going to be like in a month or so?
