Away Fans Should Be In Witton Upper

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by Lee Lindsay, where would you like to see away fans sit at Villa Park?

53% wanted away fans in the Witton Lane upper, in the corner.

13% said the Witton Lane lower.

5% wanted them in the North Stand Upper and only 7% wanted them to remain where they are usually seated in the North Stand Lower.

That left 22% suggesting we put them in the car park!

It seems in recent times that it is quite the 'in thing' to treat away fans badly. Examples of this that I know of are newcastle seated in clouds, and portsmouth uncovered (with lousy policing). Until Villa fans can increase the demand for tickets in the home areas, I really dont see the point in making any changes to the current set up.

Up the stairs, up the corner, out the way. Best and most sensible place for them.

As andrew144 says, at St.James' and many other grounds, away fans are put out of the way, so their influence of their team is minimal. No reason why they should be given the benefit of being behind the goal at Villa Park. If they have to be allowed in at all, it should be Witton Upper, right in the corner

They are way too obvious right now. Its something that really needs looking at, and appropriate relocating needs to take place.
