The pressure is starting to mount on Stuart Pearce. I read that he would very much like to take Wright-Phillips back to The City Of Manchester Stadium, but whether the board will back him in that desire, or even whether they have the cash to compete for his signature, is somewhat doubtful. As Bill Shankly once said, there is something very much wrong with a teams character if while appearing invincible at home, they fail to produce or perform when on the road. City seem to fall very much into that category. Lets hope we extend their away day woes this evening.

He speaks a lot of sense, but I'm just not convinced about his managerial ability.
