Where Should Away Fans Sit At Villa?

Our latest poll, suggested by Lee Lindsay, asks where Villa should seat the away fans.

For years they've been given great views at the back of the goal North Stand end, but recently, especially with the teams who can't be bothered to bring decent away numbers like Blackburn, Middlesbrough and Fulham, they've been put in the Witton Lane lower and therefore we've had fans behind the goal at both ends.

So Lee was wondering where you thought the fans should go?

I'd say North Stand Upper if not for the fact they could then throw things at the Villa fans below, so maybe we stick them in the corner of the Witton upper and lower and hopefully one of these fine days we'll see the Witton and North Stand re-developed (when Villa fans start to return in numbers obviously) and the away fans can be given a special corner up in the gods out of our way!

I can find no part, regarding away fans seating, that I would disagree with. Stick them out the way.

Very definitely as far removed from sight as necessary, that simply makes absolute sense. Witton Lane Upper whenever possible, overspilling in to Witton Lane Lower when numbers dictate. Right in the corner, upper and lower.

From a policing point of view they need to be together, near the coach park and the train station. The police will have a say in this. So we're confined to the North stand or R block where the Boro fans were yesterday. Valid point about throwing things down so would prefer them to have R block and perhaps a bit more to the side of that. That would of course take them to the half way line and dislodge Villa season ticket holders who like the half way line view. If we put them above R block they get good seats, perhaps charge them more. We get ripped off enough at away grounds. I like it with fans behind both goals. I'm sure it gives the players a buzz.

They should stay locked in the coach park. I've noticed that quite a few don't even bother to wipe their feet when they enter our hallowed ground. A disgrace!
