Milan Baros Questions Villa Future

Milan Baros, once again on the bench against Wigan today, has said he will consider his future if he remains out of favour.

Maybe he should consider getting fitter, keener and put his shooting boots on for us instead?

How much is the Czech Republic striker on a week? More than many fans are on in a year I'm sure, so where is his passion, fight and bottle?

Baros wasn't up to speed at the start of the season having missed pre-season training due to an injury he picked up in preparation for the World Cup, however his few appearances for Villa - including just three starts - have been woeful. I've said he needs time but many, probably rightly, have questioned his desire and commitment, comments like these from the News Of The World certainly won't help the 25-year-olds cause.

'If the situation remains like this in the longer term, then I will have to think about things more. I thought I would do better this season, but I haven't played much and the performances have not been as good as they can be. I am working hard in training and waiting for my chance. But it is difficult if you go to a match and know if you do not play well, you will be on the bench in the next match.'

Surely all players know if they don't play well they'll be benched?

Right, back to the second half, right now I'd take a draw, a make shift Villa side are finding it difficult to cope with the long ball game of Wigan.

You've still got time to prove your worth Milan. Quit moaning and start proving. The opportunities have been/will be there, but only deeds and not words will mean much to MON and the supporters.

On the evidence we have all seen when he has played this season he doesn't deserve to even be on the bench at the moment. he needs to stop whinging, get stuck in during reserve games and show he is worth his place. Otherwise as Murph said it should be Bye Milan!!
jonah
He'll be off in January, of that there can be little doubt. He's just with us on borrowed time right now.
